About Field + Form

Field + Form is a consulting collective that builds relational, systems-aware pathways to resilient communities. We specialize in civic facilitation, sustainable systems design and creative strategy, working at the intersections of key sectors that shape community resilience. We work closely with leaders, institutions and communities navigating complexity and change, recognizing that lasting transformation requires both inner resilience and outer action - and that the challenges we face are not just political or technical, but relational and somatic.

Our Mission

Empower communities and civic leaders to co-create equitable, adaptive environments where social resilience thrives through integrated somatic awareness, creative practice and systems thinking.

What We Do

Civic Facilitation & Systems Design

We work alongside communities, organizations and local government to:

• Co-design civic processes that center people, values and place

• Develop sustainable and regenerative systems rooted in local agency

• Host facilitated dialogues and creative problem-solving sessions

• Bridge emotional intelligence and strategic decision-making

• Build durable impact through reflection, synthesis and iteration

Creative Practice for Civic Capacity

Recognizing that communities are living ecologies of interdependence, we offer workshops that build both personal resilience and capacity for civic participation:

Embodied Leadership Series

Civic engagement through regulated presence and creative visioning

Seasonal Practice Series

Creative practices for nervous system regulation and seasonal attunement

Community Impact Workshops

Art-making in service of collective healing and social justice

Our Approach

Our approach is deeply relational, values-driven and grounded in systems thinking. We recognize that leadership is as much physiological as it is political.

We bring:

• Somatic and emotional awareness into civic work - treating the body as an active site of perception and wisdom

• Collaborative, multi-sector frameworks that honor complexity and interdependence

• Creative and embodied facilitation methods that create space for presence and attunement

• Long-term orientation from trust-building to sustained adaptability

• Integration across sectors: agriculture, Indigenous knowledge, mutual aid, mental health, arts, environmental sustainability, and governance
