About the Founder
Daniela Hinman
Daniela Hinman is a civic strategist, writer and visual artist whose work sits at the intersection of community design, democratic practice, and systems thinking. With a background spanning community organizing, Indigenous advocacy, policy research, and creative facilitation, she brings over a decade of experience helping communities and institutions navigate complexity, build relational infrastructure, and imagine alternative futures. Through Field + Form, she develops civic methodologies that treat participation as a design practice — creating conditions for communities to think, experiment, and act together with greater clarity and intention. Her current focus is civic imagination, economic resilience, and regenerative democracy. She lives on the Central Coast with her family, and outside of work her time is spent reading, writing, hiking, and perusing local farmers markets.
